Scoopy Doo’s isn’t just a pet store… It’s a labor of love, built by two animal-obsessed humans who believe dogs (and their people) deserve a place they can truly call their own.
Meet Dianna & Kyle
Dianna spent 25 years serving as a Sergeant with the New York City Police Department before trading the city for the sunshine of Delray Beach in 2013. Long before she wore a badge, though, she was the kid pushing stuffed animals around in a toy stroller while her friends played with dolls. Some things never change.
Since relocating to South Florida with her husband Scott, Dianna has channeled that lifelong love of animals into something meaningful : fostering, volunteering, and supporting dog rescues around the world. She always dreamed of creating a gathering place where people and their pets could simply enjoy being together. Scoopy Doo’s is that dream, finally real.
Kyle left New York behind to chase two things: entrepreneurship and his passion for animals. He’s fostered more dogs and cats than he can count, but one cat in particular… Jordie, stole his heart and made the move to Florida alongside him. It wasn’t long before the two of them found their missing piece: Scarlett, a spirited 28 pound rescue who walked into their lives during an adoption event and never left. These days, Scarlett can be found holding court at the shop, serving as Scoopy Doo’s official mascot, chief greeter, and undisputed center of attention.
Like his mom, Kyle grew up with rescue dogs and couldn’t imagine life any other way.
Our Mission
We built Scoopy Doo’s to be more than a store. It’s a community hub, a welcoming spot where every animal is celebrated, every owner feels at home, and local rescues always have a place to host adoption events and fundraisers.
Whether you’re stopping in for a handcrafted doggie ice cream, stocking up on toys and treats, or dropping your pup off for a grooming session, you’ll find the same thing every time: people who genuinely love what they do, and who care about your pet almost as much as you do.
